I checked in Norton Internet Security, which showed The Bat! as having 'automatic'
internet access. I changed that to 'permit all' - but that made no difference. [Could
that be the 'old' Bat - if so, how do I change it to the new one?]

I tried closing TB to see if starting again would help, but I was unable to close in
the usual way and had to use Task Manager - I use W2000, SP4.
