No I haven't been told it before, but I did already know because I ran a search on the archives yesterday and noticed that other people had mentioned Outpost as trouble-free. I'll see if I can sort BlackICE out. If not, next is Kerio. If not, next is Outpost. If not, away goes my permanent connection and in comes my dialup connection so I can live without a firewall :). Right now I get nervous when I don't have one installed for even a few minutes because of the attacks I see all the time. Even with the other security checks I have in place, a firewall is indispensable.
