I am also very little in the usenet at all, mainly reading specialised
NGs when I'm on to something (like now security issues on wireless
networks), throw in an odd question, but mail is really my main
medium. For the little I do in the usenet, I don't want to fire up
(let alone download and install) another software. TB/MyGate does what
I need.

If I spent more time in the usenet, I'd probably go for a dedicated
software (i.e. a newsreader) that also understands scoring, follow-up,
etc.
