TB should find it in the text version. Make sure that that you have
ticked "Anywhere" or "Message Body". When I was similarly confused why
TB didn't find something, I noticed that the tickmark was still on
"Header" from a previous search.

Also check whether the message is one of the folders you are
searching.

Other than that, I don't know whether TB finds the name if it's only
in the HTML version. I don't think so.

Furthermore, I am not sure why you say Edit/Find. In fact, I hope you
are referring to the Search function which you can access by way of
botton (between the addressbook and the print bottons in the main
window).
