I have been having this problem on one machine running XP/p sp2, since 3.0. something, and have complained several times. No, I don't run any plug-ins. I have nav checking mail as it arrives, and it doesn't conflict with TB!!. Each new beta, I upgrade, cross my fingers, fire up tb, and watch the connexion centre until the whole thing just vanishes. I usually try several times, so if it ever starts again, I bet I'll be able to delete lots of duplicate messages, but it's not because of any particular message, because I can recreate the problem any time, regardless what messages are in what mailboxes. -- Dwight A.
