Yes that should be possible.

No, that won't happen. Worst thing that can happen is that TB forgets
your husband's account, but that can be restored by creating the
account again, just as you did when you installed TB.
The account settings are stored in the account.cfg file in your
account directory. That's why messing around with the registry doesn't
affect the account settings.
