I certainly didn't crest my "peaks" in the (mis)use of those languages,
yet, but I could translate this particular bit fairly fine, although it
could lose its charm and nimbus of a fun for Robert then. (-: Baaaa...

It's a passage from "Philosophy in the Bedroom/la boudoir)" by Marquis
de Sade, with no any "explicit" terms. (: I am a "decent" gentlemen
here. On TBOT, I am a wee sweet bit "different". <g>

Hmm...I don't know for this one. Judging by your reply to yourself, it's
an issue of your editor (settings?). Here, the text is also appearing
fine, originally (en)wrapped.

> 2) instead of – appeared v

It's because you have changed/overwritten original charset (of my
message) KOI8-R to UTF-8. It's also reason that when I reply to your
reply the whole Russian text is messed up and morphed (in)to question
marks.

So, this one wouldn't be a bug. It's just a matter of charset
consistency in reply sequences/threads, defined on user level. If you
would reply to the same message again, but changing not its original
charset, whole Russian text would show correctly.

In Robert's reply to the same message you'll notice that instead what is
"appeared v" (the "v" is actually a character resembling mathematic
symbol for the extract in your previous message) stands a question mark
(instead the "-" in original). It's because he (or some other force)
also changed original KOI8-R charset to windows-1251 in the process of
replying.

As I know, windows-1251 will entirely correctly display just _some_ of
Cyrillic texts (Serbian for instance when is not written in Latin,
Macedonian and few others I don't know much about), but not Russian. Add
to this that I'm still fairly puzzled as to the number of Russian
encodings and variants. Might be easily that it looks much simpler when
is understood.

Is it Lithuanian written using only Latin letters?
