Thanks for the suggestion, my windows is set to English which I am more than 
happy with. I guess the key question is, how can I get a single email to show 
using the correct character set (e.g. one which supports  Polish) whilst 
remaining in English for windows? I've tried to change the charset using the 
Options -> Character set from the message window, but it seems to have no 
effect.
