Hello, I use BayesIt! version 0.8.4 (by A.N. Vinogradov)for Spam filtering. However I don't think it does anything. My ISP is using a spam filter, so I don't get to many ( 6-12 daily) but BayesIt doesn't automatically filters them to the spam folder. I have to do it manually.
Probably my configuration is not correct. It is set: "Average action, move is set if score greater than 40". Both Blacklist rule and White list rule are empty. I checked some header on Spam info, 3 of them are here: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.1 tagged_above=-100.0 required=5.0 tests=FORGED_RCVD_HELO X-Spam-Level: another: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.6 tagged_above=-100.0 required=5.0 tests=FORGED_RCVD_HELO, HTML_20_30, HTML_MESSAGE X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=2.9 tagged_above=-100.0 required=5.0 tests=DCC_CHECK, HTML_40_50, HTML_MESSAGE, HTML_WEB_BUGS, MIME_HTML_ONLY, SPF_HELO_PASS, SPF_PASS, YOU_WON X-Spam-Level: ** Here are two headers for spams which I manually moved as spam: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=2.1 tagged_above=-100.0 required=5.0 tests=DATE_IN_PAST_24_48, RCVD_IN_NJABL_DUL, RCVD_IN_SORBS_DUL X-Spam-Level: ** Status: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=3.7 tagged_above=-100.0 required=5.0 tests=DATE_IN_PAST_24_48, RCVD_IN_NJABL_DUL, RCVD_IN_SORBS_DUL, SPF_HELO_SOFTFAIL, URIBL_SBL X-Spam-Level: *** Would appreciate any suggestion where is my problem, or how to configure the White List and Black List Rule? Or should I switch to "Bayes Filter Plugin" by Achim Winkler, is this software better?
