Technically speaking FreeRAM XP Pro (none other but freeware versions available)
cannot be a SCAM (since it isn't introducing any spy- or other malware
either).

OTOH, Windows (no free version has ever been reported) could be...  :-)

Besides, doctors that claim that placebos never work should be returned to
university!  :-)
