I have partially solved the problem. I had also tried to move the message to a new folder and when I took that part of the filter out the text file was exported. Now when I look into the text file I have three empty lines followed by the one line of text and then 3 more empty lines. I then tried to export using the %TEXT Macro and it put the text on the first line, but with 3 blank lines after. I am trying to import the resulting text file into a database and when I do it imports 7 records in the first instance and 4 in the second.
