I finally did get it to work, at least for the moment. Its integrated
gpg also now works for signing messages, at least for the moment. I
guess part of the problem is having switched over from PGP to GnuPG
"on the fly" and not had the time to sit down and RTFM as carefully as
I should; I just haven't found one specific guide that covers all
aspects of gpg and front-ends like gpgtray. Oneof these weekends,
maybe...
