Despite this it seems your GK> Voyager is not accepting your token and continues to pop up for one. Well, it actually says the "Token has been unplugged" whatever that means. On both the USB sticks I've tried it on, I only deleted the old files. I haven't changed the formatting in any way and the disc volume name is still the same on both of them. GK> When I got my token from the web site it said I had four more GK> activations to go. Do you recall that message? I do indeed. This time I copied the activation key so that I could use it without decreasing my number of activations left. The first time I installed Voyager I didn't, mainly because I didn't see the number of usages one had left but also because I thought that each reinstallation would need an new activation key. GK> My token serial number was like FAT-xxxxxxxx (can be FAT32-xxxxxxxx) Where do you find that? All I got was the activation key, nothing about a token serial number. In fact I'd never heard of the need for a token before I had the trouble today. GK> Please Note that I assume that you saved your token No. Never thought that I'd need to do that. By the way, is the token the same as the activation key? I'm a bit lost here. Thought that, on each reinstallation, one would need a new activation key. That might be the problem. I reactivated with a new activation key. GK> After you format your USB stick run this little tool to give it back GK> its previous volume ID. Now GK> reinstalling Voyager with your original registration number and the GK> token you have saved should be working smoothly. Big problem. As I've said, I didn't save the original activation key. :-( But then I didn't either of my USB sticks. This time you write down your token GK> serial number as well. That's going to be the solution I think but what do I put in instead of the crosses in the command line? "Usage: volumeid <driveletter:>xxxx-xxxx" I'm not clueless with PCs by any manner of means but a mail programme that is supposed to appeal to the general public shouldn't really have complicated problems like this :-( -- Regards, Richard | The Bat! 3.86.8 ALPHA (beta) with POP3 account & AntispamSniper 1.7.0.8 | Windows XP (build 2600) version 5.1 Service Pack 2 | F-Prot AV, Outpost Firewall Pro, Spysweeper, Adaware, SpyBot | CPU: Athlon 1.09 Ghz | RAM: 1024 MB Holiday in France: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/lazyhomes/holiday.html ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.85.03 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
