I have asked this question before, but have not received any helpful responses. Apologies in advance for asking again in the hope of solving this problem that vexes me considerably.
When I reply to an e-mail note from someone whose e-mail address is in my Address Book, I expect that the reply template for that person will be used, if such a termplate exists. However, that is usually not the case; the account-level reply template is used instead. Why is this the case, and how can I prevent this.? Previous responses suggested that I may have more than a single Address Book entry for some persons, and this may be the cause of the "confusion." My observations over time and repeated searches of my Address Book have demonstrated to my satisfaction that duplicate entries do not exist. One of the main reasons that I purchased The Bat is the richness of the template facility. If it is not working properly, I might just as well switch to Outlook that is included in Microsoft Office at no addition cost for purchase and for upgrades. Thanks. -- Leonard S.
