Hi

I recently upgraded my Avast! (free) anti-virus from version 4.8 to
version 5. Since then, TB!'s Avast plugin is not working properly.
I've tried searching but cannot find a new version of the plugin
(AvBatEx.bav).

When receiving mail, the messages come in but for each incoming
message the account log contains:-

 01/05/2010, 12:13:19: ANTIVIRUS - Examining the incoming POP3 mail
 message for viruses

!01/05/2010, 12:13:19: ANTIVIRUS - The anti-virus has reported an
error, the object cannot be checked for viruses

When composing messages, they cannot be saved to the outbox; there is
a pop-up warning and the account log says:-

01/05/2010, 12:29:47: ANTIVIRUS - Checking the message for viruses
 before saving to the Outbox

!01/05/2010, 12:29:47: ANTIVIRUS - The anti-virus has reported an
error, the object cannot be checked for viruses

And when trying to send messages, the log says:-

 01/05/2010, 12:18:25: SEND - sending mail message(s) - 1 message(s)
 in queue

01/05/2010, 12:18:25: ANTIVIRUS - Checking for viruses outgoing
message from [snipped] to [snipped], size: 37973, date: 30 April 2010
21:54:59, subject: "[snipped]"

!01/05/2010, 12:18:25: ANTIVIRUS - The anti-virus has reported an
error, the object cannot be checked for viruses

01/05/2010, 12:18:25: SEND - connected to SMTP server
 01/05/2010, 12:18:25: SEND - authenticating (login)...
!01/05/2010, 12:18:25: SEND - List index out of bounds (0)

Messages cannot be sent, or even saved to the outbox, without first
disabling the Avast! TB! plugin through
options|preferences|protection|anti-virus.

Can anybody confirm this?
Does anybody know of an updated TB! plugin that works with Avast! v5?
