*CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS * CIT has become a major platform for researchers and industry practitioners from different fields of computer and information technology. Each year, CIT attendees appreciate and benefit from multidisciplinary exchanges in computer and information technology. In previous years, CIT has attracted many high quality research papers spanning over the various aspects of information technology, computing science and computer engineering. These papers highlight foundational work that strives to push beyond limits of existing computer technologies, including experimental efforts, innovative systems, and investigations that identify weaknesses in existing IT services.
CIT 2012 will host multiple one or half day workshops co-located with the main conference in Chengdu, China. The workshops are intended to provide researchers and participants with an exciting international forum to exchange novel research ideas, to discuss challenges in a wide range of topics, to identify emerging research areas, and to define future directions. We invite your submissions of workshop proposals on any topic related to high performance computing and communications. The ideal workshop proposal should focus on a specific area, be of current interest, and be able to attract a number of high-quality submissions. Proposals on specific new challenges, emerging topics guaranteed to generate significant interest in the community are highly encouraged. The organizers of the workshop shall have responsibility of the call for papers, organizing program committee, review and selection of papers as well as planning the workshop program. The registration fee for workshops will be determined by the conference (not the workshop itself). The fees will be paid to the conference, and the conference will provide workshop facilities including the working notes printing, the meeting room, coffee break, lunch, proceedings and etc. The proceedings of the CIT 2012 workshops will be published by Conference Publishing Services in proceedings of CIT 2012.
