The workshop is endorsed by the Technical Committee on SaCoNeT 2013 and by the EU Eureka Celtic IPNQSIS (IP Network Monitoring for QoS Intelligent Support) research project. The main goal of the workshop is to present state-of-the-art research results and experience reports in the area of Quality Monitoring for Customer experience management, addressing amongst others currently important topics such as Service-aware Future Internet architecture for Quality of Experience (QoE) management on multimedia applications. IWQM 2013 will combine original full paper presentations with poster session regarding European initiatives in this area. Furthermore, the workshop attendees will be stimulated to participate in interesting discussions amongst the attendees, such that all participants can share ideas for consideration in their ongoing research projects or start new research projects to address the challenging topics. Scope of Contributions We kindly solicit papers addressing Quality Monitoring for customer experience management areas in: · Network and traffic monitoring for QoE o Network Analysis o Traffic Modelling o Network dimensioning o Network and service optimization o Exploitation of network monitoring o Performance and capacity management · Network and user behaviour analysis o QoS vs. QoE analysis, correlation o Self-learning algorithms for customer experience o Characterization of user behaviour o Trend analysis of user behaviour · Applications of Quality Monitoring o Network monitoring solutions o Quality assurance solutions o Research initiatives in consortiums o Network management solutions o Probe-based technologies · Quality Management and monitoring o Architectures for Customer Experience Management o QoE assurance base on network monitoring o Network management to improve customer experience o QoE-driven control solutions SUBMISSION PROCEDURE ----------------------------------------- The conference accepts only novel, previously unpublished papers. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit a 5-page standard IEEE conference style paper to this conference (including all text, figures, and references) through EDAS submission system. One additional page may be allowed but with additional publication fee. Accepted papers must be presented at the Conference. The presenter must register for the Conference before the deadline for author registration. Failure to register before the deadline will result in automatic withdrawal of the paper from the Conference proceedings and the program. Selected papers for publication will be included in IEEE digital library. An extended version of selected papers from the workshop IWQM (12 pages) will be included in a specific book entitled "Quality Monitoring for Customer experience Engineering", edited by ISTE/Wiley.
