The focus of the IEEE DCOSS conference is on distributed computing issues in large scale networked sensor systems (including algorithms and applications, system design techniques and tools, and in-network signal and information processing). The conference normally features three tracks on Algorithms, Systems, and Signal Processing. In addition, a new "Track of the Year" is introduced; this track focuses on emerging topics in sensing. In DCOSS 2013, the focus topic is "Social Networks and Crowdsensing ". Authors are invited to submit original unpublished manuscripts that demonstrate current research on computational aspects of distributed sensor systems.
