TOPIC: Synchronization techniques for MIMO Multi-H Continuous Phase Modulation
CONTEXT: I3S Laboratory from University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis located on the French riviera seeks an energetic, detail-oriented intern to do research in Signal processing for Wireless communications. The intern must be available to work full-time with flexible start and end dates between February and July 2013, with a possible extension for a summer internship. A grant will be provided. OBJECTIVE: The student will be involved in all aspects of this project, including literature review, problem formulation, and algorithm development and analysis. He/she will learn the theoretical modeling and analysis of signal acquisition and synchronization techniques for Multi-h Continuous phase modulation and design practical engineering solutions based on these insights. Ideal candidates should have had courses in Electrical Engineering, good research capabilities, and some experience in an office environment. He/She must have good English written and oral communication skills. Proficiency with Signal processing and Telecommunications, Matlab, Unix/Linux is required and experience with and Latex is desirable. Some familiarity with MIMO systems would help the outreach Intern. HOW TO APPLY: The interested student should send 1 CV(1 page max.), 1 Cover Letter, 3 references and copy of your grades to the CONTACTS on the list below. Inquiries must be addressed to the following contacts: CONTACTS: Miguel Angel HISOJO [email protected] Dr. Jerome Lebrun [email protected] Dr. Luc Deneire [email protected] _______________________________________________ IEEE Communications Society Tech.
