FULL-TIME FACULTY POSITION OF COMPUTER SCIENCE Ref:(CS12) Sabancı University, Istanbul, Turkey
The Computer Science and Engineering Program at Sabancı University, invites applicants for a full time professorship position at assistant or associate professor level. We seek a highly motivated scholar with good communication skills that is willing to work as part of a team. The fields of interest should preferably complement the research activities in the program and be suitable for initiating interdisciplinary research with other programs. The successful candidate must have a strong record for top quality scholarly publication, as well as promise of outstanding teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Requirements: PhD. Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Research Areas: We are especially looking for candidates whose research areas lie in Software Systems (High Performance Computing, Parallel Computing, or Internet Technologies); Algorithms; or Human Computer Interaction; however exceptional applications from all areas of Computer Science will be considered. Publications: The candidate must demonstrate research excellence with published articles on the above topics, in international journals indexed in the Web of Science.
