Call For Paper: ICDCS-CCRM 2013 The First International Workshop on Resource Management of Cloud Computing, in conjunction with ICDCS 2013, Philadelphia, USA, July 08, 2013 ( http://astro.temple.edu/~tuc21021/CCRM2013/) Scope: Cloud Computing utilizes large-scale virtualized data centers to provision rapid and cost-effective computing services. Cloud Computing is much like utility computing as electricity. To efficiently manage such large volume of resources, Cloud Computing heavily utilizes automation and dynamic resource management. However, there is little experience of managing virtualized resources in such an unprecedented scale, both from industry or academia. This workshop focuses on the theory and practice of the efficient resource management of Cloud Computing. We are soliciting authentic research work on the fundamental theory of Cloud resource management, and the design, implementation and evaluation of novel Cloud resource management systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following: API design for resource management in Cloud computing Cloud infrastructure consolidation Cloud-ready network architecture and management Federated Management of Cloud computing platforms Resource discovery and scheduling of Cloud computing Performance modeling, predication and optimization Resource description, measurement, and accounting.
