The WPMC symposia series were inaugurated in 1998, as a global platform which aims at enabling collaboration in the field of wireless information and multimedia communications. Held in Asia, Europe and America, WPMC has established itself as a unique global conference dedicated to wireless multimedia convergence. Continuing the series, the 16th International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications will for second time be held in North America. In addition to high-quality technical sessions, the symposium will feature workshop and tutorials. TOPICS *********************************************************************** Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: * Applications and Services: Cloud computing, location based services, user-centric services, wellness and healthcare * Internet of Things and M2M: System architectures, autonomous computing, data analysis and networking and M2M enabling scenarios * Social Networks: Data mining and analysis, emerging applications, trust and privacy issues, collective awareness and innovation * Wireless Networks: Multiple access, ad hoc networks and sensor networks, wireless robotics, network protocols and QoS scheduling and radio resource management SUBMISSION *********************************************************************** Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers by the final deadline February 15, 2013 (23:59 EDT) for publication in the Conference Proceedings and for oral or poster presentation(s). All submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of Five (5) printed pages (10- point font) including figures.
