Dear all, We are running a "crowdsourcing" experiment to collect statistics about Dropbox folder usage. Everything boils down to download a simple app, and running it on your PC.
I'd like to invite you to participate in this experiment by following the instructions from http://www.simpleweb.org/wiki/Dropbox_Crawler At the end, you'll get some statistics about what's inside your dropbox folder, plus the updated statistics on how your country is performing in the race of participants! :) In more details What our application will do? • Scan your Dropbox folder • Calculate basic statistics • Show you what has been collected for your approval • Send the statistics to us Collected data is sent via HTTP (so that you can check it) to a central collection point.
