The TREND PhD School in GREEN NETWORKING
The EC FP7 Network of Excellence TREND (Towards Real Energy-efficient Network Design - see http://www.fp7-trend.eu/ ) organizes a PhD School in the field of energy-efficient networking, encompassing all issues that relate to a wiser, more parsimonious, approach to energy consumption in networking. The TREND PhD School will take place on July 1-5, 2013, in Torino, Italy, and will comprise lectures of industrial and academic experts in the field. A preliminary outline of the PhD School lectures can be found at http://www.fp7-trend.eu/TREND-Phd-School The PhD school is open to PhD students and researchers interested in green networking. The participation in the school is free, but registration is required. In order to register, use the following link: http://www.fp7-trend.eu/content/registration-phd-school-turin-1-5-july-2013 The number of places is limited. If the number of registrations is higher than the number of available places, priority will be given to TREND partners and collaborating institutions. Accepted registrations will give free access to lectures, coffee breaks, and lunches. All other expenses must be covered by the participants’ budget. A limited number of inexpensive accommodations will be reserved for registered PhD students, who must however cover the room cost with their own travel budget.
