Dear Colleagues, A full-time postdoctoral position is available at the ACCESS Linnaeus Centre at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in the area of networked computer vision. The position is hosted by the Laboratory for Communication Networks and by the Laboratory for Sound and Image Processing.
The focus of the position is on the design and analysis of networked systems for visual information processing. The work is related to the EU FP7 FET GreenEyes project on Networked energy-aware visual analysis and to the EU FP7 FINE project on free-viewpoint immersive networked experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on an exciting topic in a dynamic environment provided by the ACCESS Linnaeus Centre at KTH, and will have ample opportunities for international research collaboration. We are looking for an outstanding candidate with a PhD or near completion. A strong research and publication record is required. The successful candidate should have a strong background in at least one of the following fields: * Signal processing * Optimization * Stochastic modeling * Algorithm design with applications in computer networking, image processing, computer vision or a related field. The duration of the position is 12 months and may be extended an additional 12 months. Deadline for application is April 30.
