Lakeside Labs GmbH performs and manages research in information and communication technology with special emphasis in self-organizing networked systems. To strengthen our team we are looking for *Senior Scientists / Team Leaders* with background in at least one of the following areas: communication systems, sensor networks, multimedia systems, UAV systems, smart grids, traffic telematics.
Tasks: Acquire funding from national and European agencies. Establish and maintain cooperation with industrial partners. Manage small to medium-size projects. Build up and manage a team of 2-5 researchers (medium term). Requirements: Degree in computer or electrical engineering, technical physics, or related area. PhD or master with 2-5 years of work experience. Experience in proposal writing (e.g. FP7, COMET, etc.) is a plus. Good writing and oral communication skills in German and English. Autonomous thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills. Being curious, creative, and ambitious. Situated in the Lakeside Park in Klagenfurt, southern Austria, we offer a nice working and modern atmosphere at salaries from 50-65 T€ gross per year (equals approx. 32-40 T€ net, partly based on performance).
