ISSN: 2048-8378 (Print) 2048-8386 (Online) *Inderscience Publishers, Switzerland* http://www.inderscience.com/IJTMCC *Call for Special Issue Proposals* ----------------------------------------------- The International Journal of Trust Management in Computing and Communications (IJTMCC) invites proposals for a special issue on a topic related to the focus of IJTMCC. IJTMCC is a fully refereed international journal that is targeted at academic researchers, policy makers and practicing IT professionals. IJTMCC publishes two types of rigorous and top quality articles: research articles and research reviews. The average size of a special issue is about 100-112 typeset journal printed pages for a single issue or about 200 typeset printed journal pages for a double issue. At this stage there are no restrictions on the size and number of high quality papers accepted for publication in the special issue. Each proposal should consist of the following: - Name and affiliation of Guest Editor(s). - Concise CV of Guest Editor(s). - A provisional title for the special issue. - A general summary (max. 1 page) describing the general focus and aims of the special issue. - A motivation why IJTMCC should publish this special issue (max. 1 page). - A proposed timeline and schedule which includes: Deadline for submission, First round of review and Tentative publication date. The selection of the special issue proposals will be made by the Editor-in-Chief and the Associate Editors. As part of the evaluation process, the editorial team may ask experts on the special issue topic to evaluate the proposal. We anticipate making a decision and notifying the authors no later than two months after the submission deadline. Criteria for identifying the proposal of the highest quality include: 1) Novelty and timeliness of the topic; 2) The extent to which the special issue will advance our understanding and break new ground for future research; 3) Relevance for the journal’s readership.
