Hello, During the last years, the EC-sponsored project CHANGE project (http://www.change-project.eu/ ) has developped several software packages that could play an important role in the implementation of future Internet systems (netmap, valet, flowos, Multipath TCP, Symnet, ...). During the last two weeks of July, the project organises a Bootcamp in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. During this bootcamp, researchers, PhD students and open-source software developpers will be able to learn about these software packages from their primary developpers and also develop new extension.
The two weeks programme including handson tutorials during the first week : In-network application processing with CHANGE (C. Raiciu, M. Popovici) netmap: a framework for high speed software packet forwarding (L. Rizzo) Taming the network with tiny middleboxes (M. Ahmed, F. Huici) High speed networking in virtual machines (L. Rizzo) Writing modules for middleboxes using FlowOS (M. Bezahaf, A. Alim) Checking middlebox processing with SymNet (M. Popovici, C. Raiciu) Detecting middlebox interference with tracebox (G. Detal) Decoupling TCP from IP with Multipath TCP (C. Paasch, O. Bonaventure) During the second week, participants will be able to contribute to one of these projects by writing new extensions. This could be an excellent opportunity if you'd like to contribute to any of these projects or reuse them for your own work/research. Thanks to funding from the CHANGE project, we can offer travel grants that will cover housing during the two weeks. The registration deadline is May 31st, 2013. The CHANGE Bootcamp will be held in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium between July 15th and July 28th, 2013. You can obtain additional information and a detailed programme from http://www.change-project.eu/events/bootcamp.html If you'd need additional information about the bootcamp, please contact [email protected] Best regards, Olivier Bonaventure _______________________________________________ IEEE Communications Society Tech.
