The 5th Latin-American Conference on Communications (LATINCOM 2013) will be held in Santiago, Chile on 24-26 November 2013. The IEEE LATINCOM is the premier ComSoc organized in Latin America. It has attracted authors and attendees for the four corners of the world in its past edition. Selected papers will be published in the IEEE Latin America Transactions, an ISI indexed journal, and best paper award will be is given after careful selection. Santiago is a modern metropolis, and the cultural, political, and financial center of Chile. It has been the venue of important international summits and meetings. The landscape is dominated by modern buildings and the imposing Andes Mountains.
