Joint mPlane and BigFoot summer school on
"Big-Data Algorithms and Applications to Traffic Measurements"

The school is jointly organized between the FP7-mPlane and FP7-BigFoot European
projects. The goal of the school is to offer participant the knowledge of the
technologies that are commonly addressed as "BigData". Topics addressed in the
school will cover
• MapReduce programming paradigm
• Hadoop internals and libraries for BidData analysis
• Pig and other high level programming languages for BigData
• Applications to Internet traffic measurement and analysis
