General Chair: Helmut Hlavacs (University of Vienna, Austria) Program Committee Co-Chairs: Nick Duffield (AT&T Labs-Research, USA) and Richard Gibbens (University of Cambridge, UK) Steering committee: Edmundo de Souza e Silva (University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), Philippe Nain (INRIA Sophia Antipolis, France), Sem Borst (Alcatel Lucent Bell Labs, USA & Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands), Guy Latouche (Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium), and Don Towsley (University of Massachusetts, USA) Student Posters Chair: Karin Anna Hummel (ETH Zurich, Switzerland) The conference program consists oft three invited speakers: Peter Key (Microsoft Research, Cambridge UK), Douglas Leith (Hamilton Institute, Ireland) and Martin Reiser (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore), 17 full papers and 6 short papers from the areas of data management and modeling, control and optimization, pricing and demand management, stochastic processes, and resource management. Also, students will present their work in a special student poster session. Conference proceedings are published in issues of the journals Performance Evaluation (PEVA) from Elsevier, and Performance Evaluation Review (PER) from ACM. The conference will take place in the beautiful Small Celebration Hall inside the historical main building of the University of Vienna, one of the largest universities in Europe. The social events consist of a welcome event at the newly renovated Austrian Computer Society, a conference dinner at the roof of the „Juridicum“ of the university, and a traditional Viennese wine maker. Students can apply for special student travel grants (for applications see the web page), special student registration fees are available.
