This is ugly, and not what I'd like to do in the long run, so be prepared
to do something different in the future. But, for now, you should be able to
use the global $env(HTTP_CHANNEL) variable as your socket.
I'm worried, however, that you won't be able to do what you want anyway -
what operation will you be doing? Certainly not Http-ReturnData or something
like that? That function is already called by the caller of your
application-direct
url (see direct.tcl)
