Just a comment about native looking Tkx applications, which was mentioned earlier in the thread. I've tried hard to create some standalone apps with a native feel. Please have a look at the screenshots on the following page for an App that works in XP, Vista (sorry no Windows 7 yet!), and Mac OSX. Everything is put together with ActiveState tools (ActivePerl, PDK-PerlApp, Tkx, and built with Komodo).
