So where was cbm built?  It appears it wasn't built for the machine on which 
you're running, as it thinks the soname of libpcap is "libpcap.so.1", but your 
system has libpcap.so.0.9.7 and libpcap.so.0.9 (the latter is probably a 
symlink to the former).

So, having done that, do you now have a /usr/lib/libpcap.so.1 either in 
/usr/lib or /usr/local/lib?
