[tcpdump-workers] virtual network device

Hi Guys,

I've a severe problem and hope you're able to help me. I need something like
a fake network device whith which I can:

        - snif packages (like with tcpdump)
        - somehow create fake packages (e.g. fake an ip package from
192.168.1.4)

All this I need fast and for my Linux box (2.2.17). Maybe someone of you
tcpdump folks use something like that!
