Hi, I would like to test a network service for resilience to various malformed traffic attacks. I found a bunch of tools that let you construct and send packets, but manually constructing the packets seems laborious and error prone. What I'd really like is a tool that lets me take a tcpdump snapshot of a legitimate session, and then bring it up in a GUI-based editor and modify the various protocol layers and then replay the modified trace against a live server. Does anyone know of the availability of such a tool? Thanks, - Mike Schwartz - This is the TCPDUMP workers list.
