[tcpdump-workers] In-kernel filtering

Hi,

My name is Ashley. I am doing work using libpcap-0.4. I am running it on linux 
2.2.17-14. I want to know if there is any patch so that the BPF filters are evaluated 
in the kernel instead of the libpcap library.

Any information regarding this is welcome.
