I have an application using "libpcap" on DEC UNIX. It has been working very reliably. However, when I spawned a second thread to start a second filter, I get errors and sometimes crashes in the "pcap_compile" function. I suspect that both threads may be in the "pcap_compile" function at the same time. Do you know if PCAP is designed to work from multiple threads? If so, is there something I should do differently to avoid problems?
