I'd see 3.6.3 as something made from the 3.6 branch, which has some bug fixes since 3.6.2. (Or maybe they're in the 0.6 branch of libpcap.) I'd see something branched from the current top-of-tree as being 3.7/0.7. Should we check in the changes to add the API for getting a list of interface names and addresses, to put that into libpcap 0.7? Or should we leave that - and any merging with WinPcap - to libpcap 0.7 or 1.0, and merge WinDump in for 4.0? - This is the TCPDUMP workers list.
