Several of your problems have been fixed in the current CVS
version. I put a snapshot at
http://www.aciri.org/fenner/tmp/tcpslice-2001.10.11.tar.gz

The CVS version handles this by using struct pcap_sf_pkthdr.
Was there anything else that you needed to change?

This is the symptom of one problem that was fixed by using
struct pcap_sf_pkthdr.

Could you please try out the snapshot, and see if any of your
problems remain?

Thanks,
