Hi. I have been looking for an option to let tcpdump use a 'rotating' packet log, but was unable to find it. What I was looking for was an option to let tcpdump log to a file, and if that packetlog exceeds X mb, throw out the oldest entry's to make room for the newest. Have I simply missed something in the man page here, or is this option not included ? If it is not available right now, is it possible to add such a feature to tcpdump in the feature ?
