Hi,
I poured through what I could find in README and mailing list
archives, and wasn't able to find anything about problems compiling
the scanner portion into libpcap. Here's the error I'm getting:
lex -t scanner.l > $$.scanner.c; mv $$.scanner.c scanner.c
"scanner.l":line 169: Error: Definitions too long

make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `scanner.c'
I'm using gcc v2.95.2 on Solaris 8.
Any pointers would be appreciated!
