  First, the man page is dated 1997 the only hint that I have the new
man page is the text in AUTHORS.  It would be good if ALL man pages,
yours included, mentioned the corresponding version and last date of
man page update.
  If you want to record when the docoument was started that can go in
the HISTORY or AUTHORS section.

  Second, on your web page you need to post the date of the last
update of the software as well as the version number.  It helps a lot
when trying to figure out if the sofware has revved.
