How do we deal with this? If you ask me it is too much trouble to be
backwards compatible back to the real old stuff. Do we want to continue
support for libc5 and kernel 2.0? I would say no.
If it is impossible for him to upgrade then he has to bite the bullet
and use old software. Opinions?
