Dear all,

I am trying to pad truncated packets from a capture file, with the following
command :

#tcprewrite -F pad -i test.pcap -o test_fixlen.pcap

But I get the following error after a while :

Fatal Error in tcprewrite.c:main() line 120:
Error rewriting packets: Unsupported protocol for checksum: 50

What is the possible reason for this ?

Here are useful information :

My machine :

Linux l-pirate2 2.6.12-12mdk #1 Fri Sep 9 18:15:22 CEST 2005 i686 Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz unknown GNU/Linux

My tcpreplay:

tcpreplay version: 3.0.beta11 (build 1583:1584) (debug)
Copyright 2001-2006 by Aaron Turner <aturner at synfin dot net>
Cache file supported: 04
Compiled against libnet: 1.1.2.1
Compiled against libpcap: 0.8
64 bit packet counters: enabled
Verbose printing via tcpdump: enabled

My capture file :

Packets were previously captured from an ATM link. Only a part of ATM cells
were captured. So some of IP packets are truncated.

Then, with a personal tool I modified L2 header to make it easier to edit and
replay (typically DLT = 1).

Because confidential information may be contained into the file I'd prefer not
post it on the public mailing list and send it directly to Aaron on his demand.

Many thanks for your help !
