Hm, that raises a question. Some devices are UDP and some TCP. But we
don't want to lose anything further. So can UDP transport be mapped to TCP
(and vice-versa)? I will take a look at it when I have some time and let
you know if this is something I can attempt. If you have any useful
resources, please send them along. Ideally, if there is some GPL'd TCP code
out there, I would like to make use of that.

should be pretty easy assuming you don't have any fragmented IP
packets. If it's TCP or you have IP frags, then things start getting
more complicated.
