Hi.

I'm trying to do some tests with tcpreplay-3.0.1 and a tcpprep is having
problems with a couple of files. It doesn't appear that the mode is
significant as the error occurred in both bridge and router mode.

Here is the general command line:

./tcpprep -a bridge -i some_input_file -o x.cache

// Note: using the newer command line syntax didn't seem to matter either.

One generates this message:

Uh, we shouldn't of gotten here.

and a second generates this message:

Error: unable to build a valid list of servers. Aborting.

If it helps, it appears that the "tcpprep" utility in version 2.3.5 "works".
"Works" here means it didn't generate an error; I haven't had time to try
and use the file...

The 2.35 command line:

./tcpprep -a -n bridge -o x2.cache -i some_input_file

Info on the data files:
- file size = 22Mb and 185Mb.
- for one file, the number of "client-server" pairs were in the dozens, but
the number of connections were
a lot higher. (i'm pretty lots of connections to the same "server")

I may be able to send the trace file to you (not sure), if that might help.

Any tips would help. Thanks in advance.

John
