One of the issues we are dealing with at my college is the issue of academic honesty and internet classes. Some professors have proctored exams while others are doing everything online. Proctored exams sound like a good idea, but then how do I deal with the student who is serving in Iraq? Of course there is also the issue of who is actually doing the work. We have had several situations were a husband and wife are both enrolled in the same class. Several instructors have felt like "the wife" was doing the assignments for both. I use turnitin.com which pretty much takes care of the plagiarism issue, but dealing with other forms of cheating is difficult.
