This is what I include in my syllabus about respect and class
conduct:
Conduct in my
Classroom: In my
classroom, I expect each of us to play a role in creating a safe learning
environment. This course is
based upon active student participation and on the sharing of ideas and
experiences. I will uphold my
expectation that each person is respected, and that we create an atmosphere
free of judgment. In addition,
I will not allow plagiarism or cheating of any kind, and each student is
expected to follow all of the rules outlined in the Student
Handbook.
