Hello All,
I have selected five undergraduate students and have formed a Data Analysis Working Group. Using the National Survey of Family Growth dataset, students will be learning SAS, data analysis and doing original research. Students will be submitting their final projects to a regional sociology conference.

Two things:

1) If anyone has ever done anything like this, could you please share your experiences? Or if anyone knows of text/book/article -- any literature at all -- that discusses exposing undergraduates to data analysis, I would be very grateful.

2) If anyone can recommend some sociological journal articles utilizing NSFG data that are more "undergraduate friendly", that would be great.

We start on Tuesday, so the sooner the better. :)

Happy Fall Semester! Elizabeth
